When researching into ancillary texts I have noticed that many bands in the Metal genre tend to do things and create their products so that they represent the genre in which they are categorised however, Parkway Drive and Australian metal band did quiet the opposite with this photo and this is where I will largely take inspiration from for when it comes to creating my own ancillary texts because I don't want to conform to every convention that falls under the Metal genre, this is due to that fact that if I did, my product would be similar to other existing products, instead I want to create something new and different by using original images and a logo in the middle for my CD case and a similar idea for my magazine poster to make it stand out from all of the other products.
